We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team on a part-time / freelance basis.
Role Summary:As a Part-Time Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest problems, and implementing effective treatment and prevention plans. This role offers flexible scheduling, making it ideal for those seeking supplemental income or a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and surrounding areas to detect signs of infestation.
- Treatment Application: Determine the appropriate treatment and safely apply pesticides, traps, or mechanical barriers according to safety protocols and local regulations.
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Utilize Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles to provide long-term prevention solutions.
- Customer Education: Advise clients on how to prevent future infestations through sanitation and structural maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, chemicals used, and findings from inspections.
Qualifications & Skills:- Licensing: Must possess a Structural Exterminator License
- Experience - 6 months or more is preferred
- Driver’s License: A valid G driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces).
